April 12, 2026 | Open Burning Ban 

Due to excessive dryness, lack of measurable precipitation, and current fire hazard conditions, Judge Executive Doug Gorman has hereby issued a NO OUTSIDE BURN ORDER effective immediately, banning all open burning in all areas of Warren County, Kentucky and the City of Bowling Green. This Order includes the lighting of fireworks and burning of any material outdoors.

What are the C.O.W.S.? 🐄
Our County Outdoor Warning Sirens (COWS) are located at several locations within the city of Bowling Green and Warren County. These sirens are activated when a tornado warning is issued for Warren County. The COWS are meant to be an alert for anyone outside, they are not meant to be heard inside of buildings.
