Communication through agency-related social media is considered a public record under KRS 171.410(1) and will be managed under the terms of KRS 171.410 through 171.740 and 725 KAR Chapter 1.
The Bowling Green–Warren County Drug Task Force will participate for the sixteenth year with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s prescription drug “Take-Back” campaign. Medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.
Take Back Day is Saturday, April 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM CDT. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. The five collection points in Warren County:
• Bowling Green Police Department, 911 Kentucky Street
• Kentucky State Police, Post 3 at 3119 Nashville Road, in Bowling Green
• Warren County Hazardous Waste Day, 999 Lauren Avery Drive (8AM-1PM)
• Smiths Grove City Hall, 146 South Main Street, Smiths Grove, KY
• WKU Police Department, 1906 College Hights Blvd. Bowling Green, KY
**To help combat the continued vaping health crisis across the country, DEA and participating agencies will be collecting vaping pens without batteries and cartridges at NTBI collection sites. ***
Needles and syringes WILL NOT be accepted for disposal.
