Wednesday at 9:07 AM CST, Kentucky will hold its annual Statewide Tornado Drill as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week 2026. Sirens will sound, NOAA Weather Radios will alert, and TV/radio stations will broadcast a TEST Tornado Warning.
Use this as your chance to practice your family’s
tornado safety plan—head to an interior room, away from windows. Stay Weather Ready! 🌪️
