These individuals represent the very best of Warren County, and today Warren County Fiscal Court presented a Life Saving Citation in recognition of their professionalism, skill, and unwavering commitment to saving lives.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, personnel from the Warren County Fire Department assigned to Alvaton
Fire Station #3, along with volunteer personnel from the Alvaton Fire Department, were dispatched to a
reported cardiac arrest at a residence off Cumberland Trace Road.
Upon arrival, responders located an adult male lying on the kitchen floor who was pulseless and apneic. Personnel quickly assessed the situation and immediately initiated patient care. CPR was started and an AED was applied. The AED advised a shock, and fire department personnel delivered a defibrillation on scene.
Shortly thereafter, personnel from Medical Center EMS arrived and assumed patient care with assistance from fire department responders. After approximately 30 minutes of coordinated resuscitative efforts, the patient achieved return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) and was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green for further treatment.
As of Monday, March 2, 2026, the patient has been released from the hospital and is home recovering well.
This incident highlights the professionalism, rapid response, and effective patient care provided by our first responders when seconds matter most. We are so grateful for their selfless service to the citizens of
Warren County.
