What an honor to be named a finalist for the All-America City Award! This is just another example of our community being the best place to live, work, and raise a family!🇺🇸 Every year, the National Civic League names 10 communities across the country as All-America Cities, recognizing not just what communities achieve, but how they come together to make it happen. And this year, Bowling Green–Warren County is officially in the Top 20 finalists for 2026. 📣

For more than 75 years, the All-America City Award has celebrated the idea that the future of democracy starts right at home with neighbors connecting, ideas being shared, and communities working together to create real change. 🏆

This year’s theme ties into America’s 250th anniversary , highlighting projects that strengthen civic health and build public trust. Bowling Green–Warren County earned its finalist spot by showcasing standout local efforts like the BG 2050 Project, the inaugural Downtown BGKY Ambassador Academy, and the ever-growing Duncan Hines Days—proof that big ideas can grow from strong community roots. 🌟

To see our City and County come together with the community to create meaningful, impactful programs nationally-recognized is very special. Finalists were selected through a competitive review process evaluating community vision, collaboration, inclusiveness, innovation, and impact. The competition to share our story alongside 19 other communities from across the country is in June.

No matter the size or location, each finalist shares one thing in common: a deep pride in place and a belief that everyone deserves a voice in shaping their community. 🤝
