SoKY Ice Rink, sponsored by Wiesemann Orthodontics, is back for our NINTH season of frozen fun in Downtown Bowling Green beginning on Friday, November 21st! The 6,000 square foot ice rink accommodates 175 skaters and is located at SoKY Marketplace Pavilion (Corner of 6th and Center). Skate rental is included in the admission fee. *SKATING SESSIONS*
The ice skating rink will be resurfaced during our open skating periods to ensure that the skating experience is better and safer than ever!
When the rink is open from 1:00 to 9:00 pm, skating sessions are:
1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Cleaning will take place at 3:30 and 6:30.
When the rink is open from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, skating sessions are:
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Cleaning will take place at 6:00 pm.
PARKING
Free parking is available in the parking garage located on College Street between 7th and 8th Avenues.
Please check the SoKY Ice Rink Calendar to see when the parking lot will be closed for SKyPAC Events.
Pricing Information
Tickets provide one skate session on the ice. Skate rental is included in price of admission.
Skates are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. If we are out of your size, we will offer you a similar size if available or you can wait until more skates are returned. Child size skates have limited availability.
Cash, Credit and Debit all accepted.
Sales tax included in ticket price.
Gift tickets are available for purchase during regular hours.

Join our Festival of Trees and advertise for your business or organization. The fee is $200 but can be waived upon request for qualifying organizations. The 2025 Beneficiary is St. Gianna’s Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Voting begins at Grand Opening on 11/21 at 4 PM and ends on 12/31!

Frequently Asked Questions
636 Center Street under the SoKY Marketplace Pavilion, located behind SKyPAC. There are entrances on Center Street and 6th Street.
There is free parking available in the Pavilion lot, on the street, or in Stadium Park Plaza Garage. There are entrances to the parking garage on 7th Street and 8th Street.
On days when SKyPAC is hosting an event, our pavilion parking lot will be CLOSED. The ice rink will still be OPEN. On these evenings, please find parking on the street or Stadium Park Plaza Garage. SkyPAC has the right to tow vehicles from the pavilion parking lot on these evenings. These dates are located on our CALENDAR.
No, skates are included in the admission price. You are allowed to bring your own if you wish.
$12 for adults, $10 for Kids 12 and Under, Kids Under 4 are free.
Yes, there are a couple of ways to get discounted admission.
WKU Discount: Students get $2 off admission on Thursdays with a valid ID.
Military/Emergency Responders: $2 off admission.

We will put a weather update on the SoKY Ice Rink Facebook page if there is going to be any impact on our open hours. In the event there is lightning, everyone must exit the rink, return their skates, and get in their cars and wait 30 minutes without lightning before coming back to skate.

Skate sessions are blocks of time that you can skate. The break times will be used to resurface the ice for a better skating experience.
Your ticket includes one skate session. However, on days that are not overly crowded, we may allow you to skate for more than one session
You can go ahead and purchase your tickets, get your skates, and visit Totally Baked Pretzels for some hot chocolate and a pretzel! You can also look around at our Festival of Trees and look for our photo ops!
Regular sizes 1 through 15. We have hockey and figure skates.
Junior sizes 8 through 13.
Junior double blade sizes 10 through 12.
If your size isn’t available, we will offer a similar size or you can wait until your size is returned to skate.
